About My Pelvic Floor
APFQ is a self-completed validated female pelvic floor questionnaire used by health professionals world-wide for the assessment of female pelvic floor dysfunction. The questionnaire is used in clinical practice by general medical officers, physiotherapist and specialist but also by researchers to report validated results in trials.
More recently the accuracy of the questionnaire results in differentiating between healthy controls and women seeking treatment in a tertiary referral centre for pelvic floor dysfunction has been demonstrated.
The study compared 500 healthy female volunteers and 3000 women referred to Professor Maher for the treatment of female pelvic floor dysfunction. The questionnaire scores accurately differentiated between these groups in 94% of cases so you can feel confident in the accuracy of the results.
